Happy 6th Birthday Weston!

Can't believe Weston just turned 6!  What a kid.  He's now half way through Kindergarten and doing so great.  His teacher adores him, he has friends, and he is doing awesome.  We made the whole weekend before his birthday special, especially since on his birthday we all had school, work and practice.  Love this little dude for his kind and sweet heart, his compassion, his inquisitive mind...  for all that God made him to be!

With Wayne's 8th birthday just around the corner we decided to do a makeover on his room to start of the year right.  It was fun to talk to him about what he loves - BASKETBALL and how we could include that in his room, and still have it more big kid/a room he can grow in to.  He's growing up so fast!  He is SUCH a neat kid (and yes, I know that I am biased.)  Diligent, sweet, loving, smart, hard working, compassionate, silly, cute = WAYNE!  Enjoy your room buddy!

JumpStart Camp - Winter 2014

Weston got to attend his FIRST Jump Start camp before going back to school after Winter Break.  Wayne was attending for the 2nd time for the winter camp.  Mike Elsner does such a wonderful job balancing teaching with fun.  Both boys came away every day inspired and full of laughter.  Pretty amazing!!!  It's so fun to see them both out there, trying their best and so intently studying their coaches.  We've got years and years ahead of us in the gym, I think!
