Okay, all Weston this time! Weston is now 6 weeks old. He is doing really well. Tyler and I can't get over how chubby he is. He's not a tank by any means, but compared to Wayne's scrawniness, he's a chub! He is on a 2 1/2 - 3 hour feeding schedule during the day. We try to do his last feeding by 9pm and have him down by 10. He get's about about 2, and then again at about 6am. It's not too bad, but I am working on getting him to stretch longer at night. It's hard, because if I let him cry at all, I run the risk of waking Wayne, and then I'm toast! I handle the nights when Tyler is working, and he is great about helping when he's off. Weston stories.... today he peed on the changing table. I was slow with the new diaper because I was distracted by Wayne, and Weston let it fly! (I know, it's my own fault for not using the Wee Block!) He shot more than 5 ft away!!! Wayne ran in and ran through the puddle on the slate.. It was udder craziness! I look forward to Weston's 2 month appointment in a few weeks, it will be interesting to see how much he's grown!!!

money cannot buy happiness, but CLOTHES can!
Pet Peeve: When we arrived at the Bon, Weston was seriously fussy because he was hungry. My mom started shopping for me, and I asked the sales clerk for a dressing room (while holding a screaming baby and pushing a stroller... duh, the child had to eat!) She looked down her nose at me, and said, "do you even have anything to try on?" I pointed to my mom and said, "she has it for me!" She let me back into the dressing rooms, and the rest of our shopping experience was delightful with her. It just really stuck with me though... am I kind to other's because that's one way I can live for Christ, or am I kind to them because of what they can do for me? I hope that it is the first, but will be cautious of the second!!!

I think we're alone now... there doesn't seem to be anyone around!
Tyler is back to work! His doctor appointment on Tuesday went really well. The x-ray showed his bones were healed, and the doctor was impressed with the range of motion he had back already. He was released to go back to work, and life as usual, with the warning that he needs to slowly strengthen it again, not all at once! Later this summer he will have an outpatient operation to take out the "hardware." He'll have the surgery on a a Thursday or Friday, and be back to work on Monday.
Things are good here on the home front. Wayne is having fun being at home and showing off his little brother. The first picture posted was taken right after church on Sunday, I am feeling so much more like myself these days, and not having "the blues" like I did after Wayne (thankfully!) I was so afraid that I would, but it doesn't appear so, so far! Beppe came to visit... Tuesday morning, to see Weston for the first time... Wednesday night we took my parents and the guys who did our garage work out to dinner to thank them, and my sister-in-law Tanya came over to watch both boys. She took the cute pictur of Ethan, Wayne and Weston together. Finally, we got a huge box in the mail and found the adorable diaper cake from my Aunt Thelma in Iowa, with a Sonics theme! Seriously, isn't it cute? Hope you all have a good weekend!

Saturday...

The weekend has been a good one... Friday we cleaned the house, and I gave Weston my first bath. He loved it! No crying at all. On Thursday we went down to the Carter's outlet and to the Gap outlet, and Wayne got new footie jammies. He is wearing a 4T in pajamas now!!! Aunt Barb came for coffee on Friday and brought dinner with her, which was wonderful! My cousin Katie also came, and brought her daughter Grace. Wayne loved her! He was so busy keeping her entertained, hopefully a sign of things to come!
