Page x 4!

Seriously, I'm on a roll! Four pages is today's count, and now I need to get a few things done before the boys are up. Stay tuned for pictures of Weston smiling. He is really starting to coo and smile, when he's in the mood. Oh, and note that there are 20 PICTURES on the Halloween pages. That's unbelievable for the scrapping world!

Page!

For those not interested in scrapbooking, skip these "Page!" posts! For the rest of you... here's another page (or at least the top 8 1/2 inches of it!) This concludes the family album for 2007. Now I am going to tackle Wayne's album from November - his birthday in March. After that, Wayne's traditional scrapbook is complete, and I will move on to just "Shutterflying" him, the modern way! When Wayne's caught up, then I will start Weston's book and get him caught up, and then go back and finish the family album for 2008. What a plan! It helps to have it setup in the office so I can do pages here and there.
P.S. As I scrapped these pages, I remembered how much I hated being this pregnant! It's no wonder I don't gain any weight the last month I'm pregnant, I'm burning too many calories hauling all that weight around! Hats off to all you "pregos" out there, I have compassion on you all!

You're Invited!

I want to invite all of my faithful blog readers (that's you!) to Weston's parent dedication at our church this coming Sunday. We attend Nooksack Valley Baptist in Everson, and the service begins at 9:30am. Afterwards we are going to go up to my parents (they live about 5 minutes from the church) and have coffee and goodies. We are just inviting folks by word of mouth, and everyone is welcome, but please don't feel obligated to come. I always have an internal battle with myself over these parties... do you invite everyone (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) and take the risk of folks feeling pressured to come to yet another party, or do you keep it small, and take the risk of hurting someone's feelings? Personally, I would rather not put anyone in either position! Aagh! So, it's an open invitation, and we'll have a great time of fellowship with one and all!

Page!

Here's another... I'm being naughty and scrapping in the office while the boys are down. Note the bird on the upper right! Michael's was having a sale, only $39.99 for cartridges they usually sell for $89.99! I got the Animal Kingdom, and the Alphalicious sets, and Tanya (my S.I.L.) got the Garden themed set. How fun!

Page!

Anyone who's ever scrapbooked with me knows how much I love to say, "PAGE!" when I complete one. I just put the boys down and took a few minutes to unwind by doing my favorite hobby, made even more fun by my new Cricut machine! I scanned the page for you all to see... Sorry, it's a 12x12 page and all that I have is an 8 1/2 x 11 scanner. Oh, and the green block is for journaling (I will do that later, I'm too tired now to have a steady hand!)

In other news... Wayne was a stinker today and WOULD NOT nap. About my 3rd trip in to tell him to go to bed, he wasn't there! Not in his bed, or under it, or playing on the floor! I was just starting to panic as I raced around the upstairs looking for him, and then... Surprise! Out popped Wayne from inside his closet. He was trying to avoid getting in trouble, so he went in there to hide. The funny thing is, I think he was scared of the dark, because he came out and then layed down on the floor as if he was sleeping. What a turkey!

Cheese please!

Okay, I hate, hate, hate to grate cheese. It is a chore, and one I despise in the kitchen (ask Tyler, 9 times out of 10 he does it for me!) My hand is not big enough to hold the block, especially the Costco block, and my right wrist is not strong enough anyway (I once had surgery on it, but it didn't fix it.) Years ago Tyler bought me a cheese grater attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer. But, I lost it in the kitchen cabinets. I just found it again (Hooray!) and used it today while making a casserole for dinner tonight (I cook dinner during naptime a lot when Tyler is working. Otherwise, two kids + dad at work = Tuna helper!) It worked so great! Yes, it did take time to clean the attachment, but I would rather clean an attachment than grate the cheese any day! Kudos to Kitchenaid!

*knock, knock*

Everyday life around here is going well. The boys are growing so fast, and Wayne is hysterical. That boy comes up with something new everyday. His latest? When he is all done napping, he gets out of bed and knocks on his door for us to come get him. He can't work the door knob consistently yet, so that's how he gets our attention. The first time freaked me out, because I thought someone was at the front door, but when I checked there was no one. I finally figured out it was Wayne! He is getting more and more into holding Weston, especially when Grandma is holding him. (Wayne is not too fond of having Grandma's attention divided!) We are looking forward to warmer weather, so we can head outisde. Some day soon now, I know it will come!

Wayne had great fun playing with his animals in his new sandals, but refused to let me put his jamma's on! Oh, and he had to have his hat on too, but it had to be backwards!

In other news... I gave in, sort of. Tyler told me to order the Cricut machine for my Mother's Day gift, I LOVE being a mom!
