Seriously, I've got some catching up to do! We Silves' have been up to a lot these days. Weston is now 9 months old. We cut his hair for the first time last night. What a difference! He looks like such a big boy now. I took him in to the doctor today. I was concerned about his lack of sleep, fussiness, how he was nursing, and spitting up. We met with Dr. Putney (LOVE HER!) and together we put together the scenario we think is going on. We have Weston back on liquid antacid for his reflux. We think it's been flaring up again, causing him not to nurse well, which makes him hungry, which is why he won't stay asleep! I came home and gave him a dose, and topped him off with formula, and he slept for 2 1/2 hours! Praise the Lord! I was so relieved, and he woke hope soooo happy. It has been awhile since I've seen him so joyous. He is so precious, we are just soaking up all the moments with him, because he is going to be too big, like Wayne, before we know it.

Pumpkins for my Pumpkins
We went up to Mom's the other day for lunch, and as we got out of the Jeep, Wayne noticed her pumpkin display. He was so excited, but I had to tell him, "No, those are Grandma's pumpkins." He didn't throw a fit, and instead just went inside. Later when we left, she followed us out and told Wayne she had a surprise for him.... she had bought him his own pumpkin! He was THRILLED, to say it mildly, that he got to take his own pumpkin home. Now of course, the pumpkin comes with us wherever we go. Couldn't it have been a smaller pumpkin? :-)

Maddie is 6 weeks old!
Okay, I know I am her Aunt and her photographer, but this girl is flat out gorgeous! She is just precious...

And her Mom is so proud of her, and loves her more than she'll ever know! It is so much fun for me to see my sister so goo-goo-ga-ga. But really, who could blame her? Maddie is just a doll, and so very darling. Almost makes me want a girl... ALMOST! :-) Hey folks, not for a long while yet. As I told Deryl and Shari at church today, #3 can't come along until #1 no longer needs a constant hand on him in public places (if Tyler is working, I am OUTNUMBERED at church, and 3 would just be over the top!) Someday, someday. Until then, I will love having my niece, and hand her back to her mom when she cries!
Photo Class Homework part 2
Here are the pictures I took for the rest of my homework... they turned out pretty cool! Remember, I was trying to either capture motion or stop motion. I am soooo enjoying this class. I can't believe all that I've learned. And, it's fun to have a hobby that I enjoy. Also, stay tuned for some major picture postings coming up, including... my "pumpkins", and Maddie's 6 week photos.
What's up with this picture? The wind! All the places that are blurry show where the wind was blowing the leaves around.
Now, who could this stud be? Wow, he was scootin' along on our little street!

bad, bad blogger
Sorry folks, I've been a bad, bad blogger these days. We have had a really, really busy week. I worked quite a bit at the beginning, and then we've been "winterizing" the yard, and had lots going on. The boys are darling as ever, and Tyler has been enjoying getting all of his projects done. I think he's even starting to think about finishing the mantle! I have been on a house kick again... putting up decor and new pictures, etc. since we are spending so much time indoors lately. It's cold out! Hope you all have a good weekend!
