Where did the time go?

I put the boys down for naps a few minutes ago, and thought I'd scrap for a little while before eating lunch and taking a nap. I just heard Weston waking up, and imagine my shock when I saw that it's been TWO hours since I sat down at the computer! How did I get so off task and involved in my scrapping?!? At least Weston is now to May 21 of THIS YEAR! Yes folks, I'm within 10 days of being caught up on him.... Hip hip HOORAY! It's so much fun to scrap pictures that just happened too... here are a few recent pages. Better go get Weston, and lunch!

Top 5 Reasons we like this Weather!

5. Always something to do, gardening and playing, all OUTSIDE.
4. It makes things grow, green and great!
3. Water. We have lots of fun with water. and mud.
2. The days seem much longer, with lots of time after the boys go to bed to do things!
1. The kiddos are so tuckered out, they take naps, and go to bed by 7/7:30 too. All that sunshine and water tuckers them out.

my highspeed's back!

Not sure what the deal was, but ALL DAY yesterday my internet was on the fritz. It was running like dial up!!! Aaagh! Seriously, I'd rather lose my TV than my internet these days. I've got lots of downloading to do for scrapbooking, blogs to read, email to check (they shipped my Shutterfly book!) and tons of other things to do that let me "rest" while keeping me busy! :-) Seriously, does that doctor really think I can just sit down and do nothing? Yeah right! I'm not on bed rest or anything, he's just been adamant for the last month or two that I actually slow down and focus on taking care of the kiddos, only. Of course, that means stealing coffee dates here and there! We had one yesterday with Amanda and "Baby Girl" as Wayne is now calling her (apparently "Baby Grace" is old news!) The kids all played outside in the slip and slide for almost 2 hours. It was so fun to watch them pair up and play, switch partners, go off on their own, then come back and play again. They were SO GOOD. And lovin' the water! I have to crack up... when we're all done, we troop into the laundry room where Amanda and I have the routine DOWN... Weston in the sink for a hose down, Weston to the changing table and Grace to the sink, Grace to the changing table and Wayne to the sink, everyone out to the living room! Great fun! Sorry, no pictures. I was too lazy to come in for my camera. Amanda had hers out, so if you're lucky maybe she'll post a few! Today is pure lazyness and nothingness around these parts. We maaaay run into Bellingham this morning, I haven't decided yet. And we need to go water flowers at the cemetary, but other than that, it's babes outside in the water again today! Despite the sunscreen routine (I know, can you believe I'm being good about it?) both boys are getting quite the tans, and are attempting to establish a backyard nudist colony. Every time I turn my back, they strip to their scivies and think it's hysterical! Oh well, I guess there'd be less laundry. Hmm. Now there's a thought!

today - 79.4 degrees

What a day! It was so nice... the boys and I had tank tops on at 8am and we were not even shivering, and there were no goose bumps! All the men-folk of the house had haircuts at 8:30. They all sat very nicely for Melissa while she "cut their hairs." Afterwards, I dropped them off at home, then went to Bellingham for a doctor's appointment. All was well there, and now the baby is measuring large... about 2 weeks ahead of schedule! This is similar to where the boys were at this point too, so no concerns other than to say that he/she is growing by leaps and bounds at this point. After I got home, the boys had lunch and went down for naps, and Tyler went out and clipped the dogs nails, cleaned their ears, and gave them baths. Finally! He's been so busy, he's not had a chance this year yet, but now it is DONE. We are promising each other that it will get done every 2 weeks from here on out.
Weston was up less than 90 minutes after going down. He put him in swim trunks and sunscreen, and let him play in a bucket of water (of course, he tried to stick his head in it first. He is such an animal!)
Wayne was up around 3pm, so we got him in trunks and sunscreen, then setup the slip and slide he got for his birthday. Weston of course dove right in to the pool end, and both boys had a blast. They played for an hour and a half, and didn't seem to care that the water was FREEZING.
Weston was riding Wayne's trike, his own way.
Oopsies! Now this is more like it!
Being the first time they've ever seen a slip and slide, the boys needed a little tutorial in how it was done. I was HOWLING with laughter watching Tyler flinging himself down that thing, and the boys were cheering him on, shouting, "more more, more!" I think he said that it had been a good 15 years since he'd slipped and slid his way down one.
Need a drink?
The three Silves boys... soon to be four? Or will they have a little girl to squeeze in?

a cutie pa-tutie!

Yesterday afternoon, I also took pictures for my 3 month old niece Paige, and my 9 month old niece Madelyn. Trust me, they are two very cute little girls!!! My sister would kill me if I posted pictures before she was able to hand them out, but I think Trisha would allow a sneak peak... here are two!
Seriously, is she not just adorable!!!????

I can't believe that she is 3 months old already. Time flies when you are having fun! She is SUCH a good baby... and her mama is madly, deeply, crazy in love with her! (Her auntie is pretty fond of her too! :-)

Do you want s'mores?

Last night we ate dinner on the patio... roasted hot dogs, vegetables, and baked beans. BUT, I didn't take any pictures. Then we put Weston to bed, and Wayne, Tyler and I went out and planted the garden. BUT, I didn't take any pictures. Then the three of us had smores around the fire (they did anyway) and Wayne was so stinkin' cute chowing down on his shmellows and chocolate, I HAD to go and get the camera!!!!

And then today.... A delightful day if I do say so myself! I'll post on it later!
