Northwest Washington Fair - 2013

It was one big last hurrah before Tyler headed out of town for the guys' annual fishing trip, so off we went to the fair. Since we missed last year (Addison was only a few weeks old) the kids were especially excited to take it all in this year.  There was even a family cheer that happened on the sidewalk outside.  Oh yeah!
Who knew Noah's Ark would be at the fair this year?  The boys were in awe of this, and combed every square inch.  They even recited their summer verse to the volunteers "Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks" Mathew 4:24
I don't think the fair organizers can understand the attraction that the Lego exhibit provides.  So cool!
After looking through most of the exhibits and half the barns, the rides were FINALLY opened and away they went.  Wayne, Weston, Madelyn and Wyatt hit the rides together and a had a blast.  Wyatt wasn't tall enough for any of the rides by himself, so we sent Tyler scrambling through the line to get a ride pass so that Wyatt could go.  MUCH BETTER!  Poor kiddo was broken hearted when the Carnie's told him "you're too short."  Hey, we like to think of it as "petitie."

Grandma even helped him out a few times.

Sister sat in her stroller the entire day.  What a girl!
And it's Wayne in first, coming into the finish!

By afternoon it was getting pretty toasty, so sno-cones were a hit.

 One last ride...
The highlight of my fair experience (aside from watching the kids take it all in) was my trip to the CUTCO counter.  Seriously in love with my knives from there.  It was a great day - we lasted from 9am to 7:15.  What a fun day!
