Wyatt's Kindergarten registration was finally here - and he was SO excited! He kept saying "Now this is my school, not Wayne and Weston's school." He did so great on all of his testing and tried his best - he knew all of his colors and about half of his numbers, and 2 letters of the alphabet. Given his vision issues, I was VERY proud of the progress he has made in the past few months and how well he did, all things considered. He loved meeting his teacher, Mrs. Handy - who is also Weston's teacher. I just can't believe he's going to full time kindergarten next year! Mrs. Handy picked up on the similarities between Weston and Wyatt really fast, and also commented, "But Wyatt's a bit feistier, isn't he?" :-) This is going to be an ADVENTURE!

Sister, Sister
Addison has grown up the past 6 weeks or so. She's crazy busy, walking, and crazy, and busy! :-) The boys can't get enough of her. She says mom, dad, doctor doctor, uh-oh, thank you, and grandma. Such a talker. She loves to eat, and her favorite toys are balls and cars and horses. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas with the little sweetie!

Wyatt's going to preschool!
After sending Wayne and Weston off to school, Wyatt was PUMPED to head to his first day of preschool. He'll attend Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 to 11:45. His friend Dane is in class with him, and he loves it! His teachers say he started off pretty quiet, but now he's chatting up a storm. Can't believe the little dude is this old already!

Final Birthday celebrations for WYATT!
For Wyatt's birthday, we headed to the Cedar Hill KOA to camp out for the night. It was AWESOME! So much fun, the perfect way to end a busy day. Can't believe the little dude is 4! He is one awesome kid, that's for sure. He is athletic and loves anything to do with a football, basketball or soccer ball, he always puts his shoes on backwards, he is always hungry but never finishes his plate, is very adorable and full of snuggles, and is heading to preschool this fall. It's good to be four!
Special thanks to the owners of Cedar Hill KOA for the superb accommodations and made to order breakfast.

One + Four = PARTY!
Sunday July 14 was a special day. We had Addison dedicated at church that morning, and we stood up front before our congregation, family and friends and promised to teach Addison to love the Lord and to love and be obedient to His word. The boys took this promise very seriously! So many family and friends came to also make the promise with us. I am so grateful for family that is committed to teaching God's word to our kids. Not just preaching it, but living it out.
After church we all headed to our backyard for lunch and a few birthday's to celebrate. Wyatt turns 4 this week, and Addison just turned one, so it was time to partay with a Knight and Princess theme. I thought giving them a castle and Wyatt a Knight costume was enough, but Auntie had to pull out a princess costume for Addison to wear. She didn't know what to think! I can see a Halloween costume coming....
Can't believe this little dude is four. And I can hardly remember the days we called him "Quiet Wyatt." Ha!
The CHEETOS were a BIG hit.
Addison loved her baby bed from Grammie and Duane!
Bathing suits and doll accessories from Grandma and Grandpa. LOVE!
And excuse the photo overload, but how do you not when it's a first birthday?
And tradition was complete - Auntie washed her up after her cake, just like she did for the boys. What a sweet Auntie!
