1. The boys ask to go bye-bye to Ethan's every morning (even Weston knocks at the back door.)
2. Everyone's sick and tired of being sick and tired (we've got the runs around here... runny noses, and "other" things!) Poor boys.
3. The weather's beautiful and I'm working on my laptop instead of my yard.
4. I have multiple dreams each night of tax returns I'm reviewing.
5. 7 days seems like an eternity, and yet it's not long enough either.
6. Having pizza is no longer a treat.
7. My laptop power chord has been out so much that Weston doesn't even play with it anymore.
8. I've worked my weekly hours....... by Tuesday.
9. I finally give in... extend, extend, extend.
10. I'm praying for rain through 5pm on April 15th!

{the Wedding Boy}
The Wedding Boy is now Wayne's new nickname. We wondered how he'd do the day of the wedding, but never in my wildest dreams or fervent prayers could I have predicted how the day would play out. He was so excited, from the moment he woke up, he popped up out of bed, turned to me and said, "I go wedding now?" We were going to take him with us to Homestead for breakfast, but the idea of not staying at Ethan's was too much, and so he was left behind at his own choosing. He played with Ethan and Auntie and the kids, and then went down for an early nap. I think Tyler went and got him at some point, before three, but I can't be sure. I just know that the next time I saw him, he was running down the church aisle, screaming "It's my mom!" and he came and gave me a big hug (I was taking pictures.) He then went to put on his tux, and I saw him at th KOA next. He was soooo proud to show me his fancy wedding shoes and his tie. He was IN LOVE with his tie and shoes, and wouldn't take them off, and cried when they had to come off before bed at 11pm (you heard it right folks, 11pm!)
Preparing for his own toast, he wanted to be like Uncle Todd!
Making sure the groom was listening to him say "I dance, I dance!"
And just a few more sneak peaks for you.... my sister did their cake, and she ROCKED it! Seriously, how talented is she!?!? I L.O.V.E. these pics...
He was soooo good. Have I said that? He was even good for the pictures! I can't count the number of times he said, "cheese!" When it came time for the wedding, he went straight down the aisle, ringing his little bell for all he was worth. I was taking pictures of him, and he went straight past me. Of course, he went straight past Tyson and Ryan too, and Tyler had to scoop him up, but hey, he's 3?!! How's he supposed to know where to stop! :-) The look of sheer pride on Tyler's face was what I'll remember most... How did our baby get so big?
After the wedding, it was on to the reception. If I thought Wayne was good so far, I had no idea how much "goodness" was to come!
One of my favorite shots of Wayne and Tyson.... is it 8x10 worthy? Maybe not to all of you, but to me, this picture speaks volumes about each of them! Tucker was the other ring bearer, and I ADORED him. Sweetest boy you've ever met!
Wayne was not supposed to be in this picture, but he didn't want to not be in it, so I told him "Just one more." I love how he was showing of his tie!

The Wedding... Post 1
We'll see how far I get here... it's late and I should be in bed! Our day started out by leaving the house at 7:15am to bring Weston to Tanya's and then meet the fam' at Homestead for breakfast. Wayne of course was having none of Weston going to Auntie's and not him, so he bailed on us and we enjoyed a nice breakfast with the bride and groom, and the calm before the storm! While we had originally planned on picking the boys up for a few hours, the enormousness of the day was sinking in and I realized that picking them up would consist of driving to Everson and back, so my lovely sis kept the boys and said it was no problem. My photography duties began at 10am... first scouting the KOA, then shots at the Rotary building, then to NWHD for shots of the girls getting their hair done. Then back to the Rotary for the cake pictures, then to the church to begin setup for the formal shots. Argh! I paced myself and took my time, I knew it was going to be a long day! Tyler helped me a bunch, then took off with the men folk to "go shoot guns." Apparently you don't have to shoot AT anything, it's just fun to shoot them! (You all must be confused, with all this talk of "shooting." Hopefully you can figure out when I'm talking about photography or guns!) Not only was I setting up in the sanctuary, but I was scurrying back and forth between the bride and groom catching shots of them getting ready. Whew! These legs definitely had a few miles put on them yesterday! By the end of the day, between the rehearsal (which was way fun, and oh so good.... we had the dinner at Black Forest!) and the wedding, I took 1,750 picutres. Whew! I just kept swapping batteries and memory cards! For those into the tech side.... that's 12 gig of pictures! Okay, so this post takes you until 2pm. More later... and maybe a sneak peak at a few pictures!
they got hitched!
Just a quick note to everyone.... Tyson and Breanne are married! We had a wonderful day yesterday, and it was perfect. Yes it was busy, and yes I was tired, but you only get married once. I am thrilled to have such a WONDERFUL new sister. She is truly special, and her demeanor and attitude all throughout yesterday was so impressive to me. She is gracious, and full of life. I so enjoyed taking pictures, she was gorgeous inside and out! More later, the details, and pics!
Oh, and more on Wayne. He was in his very first wedding, and LOVED it!

Let the festivities begin!
Tomorrow the wedding celebration begins! I have to run errands in the morning, then scope out shooting sites in Lynden, then to the church, then home to watch the boys while Tyler gets his haircut, then to get my own haircut, then home again to finish a list of things, then to the REHEARSAL! I am so excited for all the fun to finally be here. I am so thankful to be gaining such a wonderful sister, and want the next two days to be unforgetable for them.
If I have typos, excuse me. I worked over 12 hours today, and didn't get much sleep last night. Weston wasn't feeling good, and needed mommy snuggles. (three hours worth of them!) He is so darn cute. It brought me back to the days when he was days old and snuggled like that. He just laid there, slowing petting my arm. Tyler was jelous! Tyler was amazing today, and helped me however he could (he even brought me coffee to work, I needed it!) I could not make it through one day without them, they are wonderful. The littlest Silves is doing well, busy as ever! More later folks!
