Wayne was
awarded the Pioneer Pride award this past Monday at his school. He was
BEYOND excited that it was his turn, and that several of his friends
were also getting theirs, all on the same day! It was made even more
special because Grandma was able to come, and Aunt Tanya came with Ethan
and Paige too. Wayne was speechless to have so many of his favorite
people at his school, on his special day.
He looked like such a big boy up there.
Afterwards,
an older lady came up to Tanya, and asked her if the "Wayne Silves"
that was awarded was connected to her family. She told her that yes,
Tyler had named his first son after his dad, and the lady had to hold
back tears. Awww. So nice that almost 30 years after Grandpa Wayne
passed away, someone he once knew could be moved to tears by hearing his
name - attached to a sweet 5 year old boy, his grrandson. Wayne and I
can't wait to meet him in heaven!
Ethan and Wayne had to have a picture together... and this is what they gave me! Yeesh. Boys.

job Wayne! We are so very proud of you. You are a sweet, nice boy and
you play with everyone. I love coming to your school, and watching you
play with your friends, and be helpful to your teacher. You make us
PROUD! :-)
We were thrilled to be there to celebrate with Wayne. Ethan was so glad Wayne's special day was on a day that he didn't have school. We are very proud of Wayne!!
