Since we're always looking for an excuse to give a kid a knife... we carved pumpkins! The theme was basketball this year which shocked me. I figured for sure we were going political (on that note... I want to move to Oklahoma!) but the boys wanted basketball. Wayne actually went rogue on us and designed, dug out, and cut his own pumpkin for Addison this year. How sweet! I also learned from last year and brought the pumpkins into the house a few hours before so their insides weren't freezing to dig through. Weston was the first one done, so he and I made caramel apples for everyone. It was only slightly chaotic, and family memories were made. What more could we ever ask for?
