Memorial Day was wet and cold, and we sat around for most of the morning, doing laundry and playing with the boys. By nap time, we were able to head outside and start hanging shutters on the house, but all that productivity came to a screeching halt around 3pm when we headed to my parents for coffee and an impromptu dinner. The boys were crabby and tired, and immediately asked to go watch TV in the bedroom. No problem! :-)
My pictures are kind of random, so this next one was taken after dinner... Mom had ice cream with homemade caramel for everyone, and Dad bought the kids cones, which the baby boys loved!
Before the cones, Wyatt had dinner, which was cheese and crackers. For a little guy, he can really eat!
Here's Weston, learning that ice cream actually should be inside the cone...

I so love that your parents have a house full of grandbabies!!! How fun it is that they are all so close in age!!! Our kiddos have fun with my nieces, but it would be fun to see them all closer in age. Glad you all had a wonderful Memorial Day together!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun family memories! We did a whole lot of nothing that day. Randy and I grabbed a coffee and returned the kayak up to Canada, and then my brother and sis in law came for burgers. Just a relaxing day. Your boys are getting so big!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe Wyatt is almost one! He's such a big boy now it's almost unbelievable. Give him a big squeeze from the Young family. ;-)
