Decking out the Tree - and Game Night!

We spent the rest of our Saturday decorating the tree and putting the finishing touches on our house decorations.  After a morning spent outside, and skipped naps, and a COLD night, we decided we just weren't up for the Lighted Parade in Lynden this year.  The boys (Weston and Wyatt) still have such sensitive skin, the cold evening air would have done a number on them, and as it was they were out cold in their beds by 7pm, so although we were sad for them, indeed it was the "grown up" decision to make.  Uncle Deryl and Aunt Shari called, and we were thrilled that they could join us for dinner and game night, on only 45 minutes notice.  Gotta love Aunt's and Uncle's like that, right?  Better yet - they aren't even slightly bothered by the noise level in our house!  :-)  Family Game Night is our tradition for the day we get our tree up.  That night, the boys get to open one more early present, and it's always a game.  This year?  Angry Birds!  The boys LOVED IT and we all had fun figuring it out.  After the little ones went to bed, the rest of us played "Chuck a Schmuck" (You might now it as Aggravation, but that's not as fun a name!)  Wayne lost, but didn't throw a fit - so that was better than winning if you ask us!!!!

PS.  Note for next time:  Uncle Deryl is competitive (pick him to be on your team) and Aunt Shari is just as sweet in board games as real life!!!!  :-)
