Saturday.... Our little boy is now 6 days old, can you believe it? This week has gone really fast and really slow, all at the same time. Wyatt is starting to really gain back his weight... the visiting nurse came, and he had gained 5 oz. in 48 hours, which according to her is incredible for a nursing baby... way to go Wyatt!!! You'll be filling out your clothes soon. I just can't get over what a little runt he is... such a small, sweet bundle of a boy. Tyler man's the older boys and I am in charge of Wyatt. I am not going to lie folks... it's been a little bit of a zoo around here, what with Wayne losing his binkie and having to relearn how to fall asleep (he's like an addict going through withdrawal) and Weston just being his wild old self, and then a new baby in the mix too. Thankfully, Weston and Wayne both love Wyatt and have shown not a single sign of jealousy. They both like to hug and kiss him, and Wayne likes to hold "his" baby. The hot weather has definitely added another layer to our days, but Tyler takes them outside after naps to play in the sprinkler and swimming pool.
Oh yeah, back to Saturday! Tyler and Wayne went crabbing in the morning, leaving Weston with Mom and Aunt Tara. They took Dad's new boat, which worked out really well for everyone to go along (bigger boat=more people=more crab per trip!)
Wyatt and I spent the morning at home, catching up on mountains of paperwork, blogging, baby book documentation, etc. Weston took a nap, and when he woke up, everyone on the compound had a pool party. Madelyn and Weston kept all six of them busy!!!
Weston's diaper got too full of water, and I didn't send his swim trunks so.... he went in his birthday suit! Poor Auntie Breanne... she's 39 weeks pregnant here with Wyatt's best buddy!
Grandma, chasing Weston, AGAIN! I'm told this was a never ending battle... Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved, Weston runs away, Weston is retrieved.
Grandma, trying to teach modesty to a one year old, or at least get one picture that could be posted on the blog!

Sharing Cheetos and cookies in the pool. Something tells me, they are not crunchy!

And later... Mom brought Weston home around 5pm, and he joined Wayne in the back yard to play. Again, we were too lazy to go inside and get his swim trunks so.....
He played with Wayne as is!

Grandma even got a few snuggles in!
And Dad had to get Wayne in trouble... again. He's had some brilliantly good days this week, and some devastatingly bad ones....
We ate leftovers for dinner, and settled in for a quiet night. The boys were exhausted from all of the heat!
